Get registered and ready to play in the 2008 Chevy Virtual World Series. You can register here by logging-in to your Xbox Live account and following the online instructions. Check out the complete rules and regulations here.
You need to complete at least 15 online ranked games to qualify for the Virtual Season. During the Qualification period, all ranked online games will count towards your qualification ranking. Keep track of your ranking, and players in the Tournament, at the Leaderboards. Rankings are calculated using an ELO rating system, a mathematical equation used in all 2KSports online tournaments.
The top 30 players who have checked-in with at least 15 completed online ranked games during Qualifications will advance to the 15-game Virtual Season. You must check-in to be eligible to compete in the Season, so please be sure to confirm your check-in status on your player profile page once Qualifications are complete.
Those top 30 players will kick-off the Virtual Season on June 1, 2008. Teams will be assigned via draft based on Qualifications performance, including (but not limited to) Wins, Loses, Runs Scored, and ERA. The Season consists of 15 games within each League - American or National - over a 4-week period.
The top 8 teams will participate in a single elimination Playoff Tournament, 4 teams each from the American and National Leagues, consisting of the 6 Division winners, and 2 Wildcard teams. Check out the complete details here.

The American League and National League Playoff Tournament winners will face-off in the Virtual World Series Championship at the MLB’s All-Star Game DHL FanFest in New York City. The VWS Champion will win a trip for two to a 2008 World Series Game this fall. |
